A skier with congenital visual impairment, he took the bronze medal for giant slalom at the 2015 world championship and competed in two Paralympic Games in 2014 and 2018. He has been twice listed among the top ten athletes with disabilities of the year. He graduated from the Faculty of Sports Studies of the Masaryk University and is teaching at the Emil Zátopek Elementary School in Zlín. As a versatile athlete, every year, he participates in different running tours in the Czech Republic, the Olympic run included.
